Wanted to introduce to my followers a product that has been widely known in Korea for a little over a year now and has made its way to us so that I could now write a review about it!
I had recently received this product from Laneige and immediately drew my attention because of its Vitamin C benefits, aka: Ascorbic Acid. Vitamin C is antioxidant and plays a major role in collagen synthesis. Vitamin C is a vital molecule for skin health. It has also been known to prevent UV induced photo damage.
When properly formulated, it helps create firmer, younger looking skin meanwhile fading signs of sun damage and post-acne marks.
This product also delivers additional AOX benefits with ACAI berry and Acerola extracts. ACAI berries are extremely high in vitamin C working to fight cell damaging free radicals, Acerola (A cherry-like fruit) is packed with high antioxidant activity and is rich in Ascorbic Acid aka: Vitamin C making this product a weapon in mass destruction in fighting free radicals.

TEXTURE: It looks and feels like a toner as it is a watery liquid. It has a rather mild scent that is distinctive to Laneige. It is not overpowering or overwhelming which is great. Even the most sensitive to scents wouldn’t have a problem with this.
PACKAGING: It is beautiful. It comes in a tall pink frosted bottle with a rose colored cap. When you lift the cap, you see a glossed white pump created specifically to dispense exactly 2.5 ml which is the appropriate amount for the face. It also comes with small markings along the side to let you know just how many days you have actually made use of the benefits.
THE RESULT: Skin is left refreshed, bright, smooth and renewed. Improves texture, tone and elasticity.
NEGETIVE: Now you know I can’t leave that out! I only have one complaint here, and that is that is DOES include the ingredient, alcohol, which can be drying over time for everyday use or for those that have a “dry” skin type.
Other than that, my verdict is “It’s FABULOUS!” It’s packaged beautifully, it smells great and it makes my skin feel and look better. I am a dry skin so I have found that I cannot use it daily but I can most certainly use it a few times a week.
At a $39 price point it’s priced reasonably and for what you get it’s an investment in AOX superpower!
